Expressions of interest to become a governor at our academy

Thank you for your interest in the important role of governor at Marton Primary Academy and Nursery.

We are proud to be part of Bright Futures Educational Trust which operates 11 academies in Trafford, Manchester and Blackpool. More information about our Trust can be found here: www.bright-futures.co.uk

The role of a governor is to support and challenge the running of the Academy, working with Principals and other leaders, to ensure that the academy is operating effectively in all respects. The membership of local governing bodies provides an opportunity for local stakeholders to be represented, e.g. parents/carers, staff and community leaders.

We are looking for governors who can make a positive difference in the lives of children, families, colleagues and communities in keeping with the Trust’s vision and values.
