Vocabulary Day 2024

On Thursday, 11th July 2024 we are holding our annual Vocabulary Celebration Day in school. The children will be taking part in a range of activities with a focus on vocabulary development. All children in school are invited to come into school dressed as a word of their choice. We would encourage children to be ambitious with their choice of words. For example, they might come dressed as ‘vibrant’ or ‘fluorescent’ rather than ‘colourful’. As part of the costume, please include a label with the word on. Some ideas below.
